Got some experience with using linking and appending in a more extreme use case than I’m used to. And boy is it a painful workflow. Only added 3/4 of the objects I prepared for linking as things were getting dramatically laggy. Every so often the file would decide it couldn’t find the links or referenced textures requiring a roll-back to a previous file version, luckily I’m an old hand and always have plenty of back ups. Rendered with 1000 samples, and couldn’t be bothered to crank it up anymore, so it’s staying a little noisy!
